Ode to fall 2013

Fall/Autumn is my favorite season, i love everything about it, the color, the coffee, the temperature, scarfs, boots, sweaters, and how this the season brings sense of rest. Fall is the dying season and winter often associated with dead, but when spring comes, it's the new life. There is a beauty in each season, God renew us everyday and there's a reason for the season.

Happy fall everybody!
Much love...Sisie

Preparation..

I'm in the season of preparation for the next 2 busy months (September and October), I have a photo session every weekend until november hits, so i've been catching up with a lot of things in life and make sure life isn't gonna pass me by to quick! I want to soak up on every moment, every reading/studying time, quality time with my husband, and even every work time. I love getting to know my client in the personal level, i think the secret of good photograph is too capture the personality of your object.

Let us be wise in using our time, let every moment counts and savor every minute of it.

Love,

Sisie

Going for a long walk is one of my favorite things to do during warmer weather, i can't help it, i love fresh air and breeze :). Not long ago Josh and I venture around Iowa countryside, we found some abandon barns, old buildings/houses and a couple lakes. I would like to do this more often while we get the warm weather, you never know what you will find and you'll get good photos!

Winter Proposal

All photos edited with VSCO

Hey all....I know that it's no longer winter, but i still want to share one of my favorite photo session from early this year. I had the opportunity to capture a proposal of Jenny and Kurtz, and it was a blast! I never thought of outdoor winter scenery could be more than perfect for this event. It was cold, but it was worth it! They are a lovely couple and i can't wait for their engagement session and of course the wedding!!!!!

Happy weekday!

VSCO cam

Happy Tuesday.... just want to share some of my favorite snaps that i processed using vscocam for iPhone. Visit their rad website here. I always go to their website to be inspired and motivated, they also have an editing software for adobe, lightroom and aperture users. I'm pretty much a big fan for their iPhone app and their lightroom software. Seriously guys, don't forget to pay them a visit, you won't be sorry :)
